A Feis (pronounced fesh, plural is Feiseanna) is a competition and celebration of Irish culture. Competitions usually include dancing, voice and instrumental Celtic music, language, baking and art. There are several levels of competition at a Feis, from Beginner to Champion. Winners in the Champion category may go to Ireland to compete in the World Championships. At the Mulligan school, we encourage competition at Feiseanna, at the same time recognizing that all of our students are champions.
